De conformidad con las atribuciones que la Ley 7/1985 RBRL, reconoce al ayuntamiento, artículo 25.2 “e) Evaluación e información de situaciones de necesidad social y la atención inmediata a personas en situación o riesgo de exclusión social” “g) Tráfico, estacionamiento de vehículos y movilidad. Transporte colectivo urbano.” La contratación obedece a la necesidad que tiene el ayuntamiento de prestar un servicio de transporte a personas que no disponen de medios suficientes para el desplazamiento a los centros sanitarios de: Bellreguard, Hospital San Francisco de Borja de Gandia y Centro de la Mujer de Xàtiva. Este taxi entrará en servicio cuando el taxi de primer servicio se encuentre realizando un transporte a los centros sanitarios no se encuentre en Piles para poder atender otro cliente.
