Construction of Water Supply System at PEO Compound, Brgy. Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City 1) The Provincial Government of Batangas, through the General Fund (Supplemental Budget No. 2) intends to apply the sum of Four Million Two Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Eight Pesos and 01/100 (₱4,266,638.01) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC), to payments under the contract for the Construction of Water Supply System at PEO Compound, Brgy. Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. The Notice of Award (NOA) will only be issued to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) when the fund is downloaded to the Provincial Government of Batangas. 2) The Provincial Government of Batangas now invites bids for the above infrastructureproject. Completion of the Works required is One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders (ITB) and in Item VI (General Eligibility and Qualification Requirements) of the Terms of Reference for the particular project. 3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA 12009, otherwise known as the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA). Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, and partnerships or corporations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. 4) Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Provincial Government of Batangas and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00am to 5:00pm. One set marked as “Original Copy”, and b.
