Um den Betrieb in dieser Vielzahl von Objekten jederzeit garantieren zu können, sind laufend Zustandsbeurteilungen, Machbarkeitsstudien, Unterhalts- und Instandsetzungsmassnahmen erforderlich. Je nach Alter, Bedeutung, Bauart und Zustand sind Massnahmen in grosser Bandbreite erforderlich, diese reichen von Einzelmassnahmen bis hin zu grösseren Instandsetzungen und ebenso deren Neuerstellung.
