Re-präsentative Befragungen sollen Aufschluss über die Prävalenz der Glücksspielteilnahme so-wie das Ausmaß potentieller Glücksspielstörungen in der erwachsenen Bevölkerung geben. 2. Forschungszweck In der Vergangenheit wurden verschiedene Befragungen zur Glücksspielteilnahme und poten-tiellen Glücksspielsucht durchgeführt. An diese Arbeiten soll die Studie anbieterneutral und auf Basis einheitlicher, aktueller wissenschaftlicher Standards anknüpfen. Darüber hinaus soll sich die Befragung mit dem möglichen Zusammenhang von Impulsivität mit Glücksspielstörung beschäftigen. Das Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die Möglichkeit vertiefter, bisherige Stu-dienergebnisse ergänzender, evidenzbasierter Einschätzungen zur Wirksamkeit der verhältnis- und verhaltenspräventiven Maßnahmen des GlüStV 2021 zu schaffen. Des Weiteren gilt es, in einem eigenen Modul Minderjährige verstärkt in den Blick zu nehmen, da die bisherige Stu-dienlage nahelegt, dass zunehmend Jugendliche an Glücksspielen teilnehmen. Erwartet wird, dass die Ergebnisse der Studie zu einer evidenzbasierten Diskussion über Anpassungsbedar-fe bei der Schwerpunktsetzung in der weiteren Ausgestaltung der Regulierung von (Online-)Glücksspiel in Deutschland beitragen. 3. Forschungsmethoden Das Studiendesign des Forschungsprojekts hat die folgenden Leistungen zu enthalten: • Befragung o Befragung von mindestens 6.000 Personen zwischen 18 und 85 Jahren zu folgen-den Fragestellungen:  soziodemographische Angaben, insbesondere Geschlecht, Alter, Familien-stand, Schulbildung, Beschäftigungsstatus, Migrationshintergrund  Teilnahme an Glücksspielen in den letzten 12 Monaten (12-Monatsprävalenz)  Screening auf potentielle Glücksspielstörung auf Basis der aktuellen Krite-rien des Diagnostischen und Statistischen Manuals Psychischer Störungen (DSM-5, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition)  Screening auf potentielle Impulsspielstörung gemäß Kurzskala zur Messung von Impulsivität nach dem UPPS-Ansatz (Urgency Premeditation Perse-verance and Sensation Seeking Impulsive Behavior Scale von Whitesi-de/Lynam [2001]; Skala Impulsives-Verhalten-8 (I-8) von Kovaleva et al. [2012]) o Auswahl der zu befragenden Personen durch eine bevölkerungsrepräsentative Stichprobenziehung auf Basis von Einwohnermelderegistern mit der Option von Mixed-Methods-Ansätzen o Erstellen eines standardisierten Fragebogens o Datenauswertung und -aufbereitung o Wiederholung der Befragung im Zweijahresrhythmus (zwei Befragungen zwischen 2027 und 2031) • Jugendmodul (Systematischer Review) o Literatur- und Realanalyse vorhandener Daten o darauf aufbauende Bewertung vorhandener Jugendschutzmaßnahmen Es wird in diesem Zusammenhang eine ausführliche und nachvollziehbare methodische Be-gründung des Studiendesigns erwartet. 4. Forschungsfragen der Studie Die forschungsleitenden Fragen des Forschungsprojekts lauten: • Wie hoch ist der Anteil der Personen an der erwachsenen Bevölkerung zwischen 18 und 85 Jahren in Deutschland, die in den letzten zwölf Monaten an Glücksspielen teil-genommen haben (12-Monatsprävalenz)? • Wie hoch ist der Anteil der Personen an der erwachsenen Bevölkerung zwischen 18 und 85 Jahren in Deutschland, bei denen eine potentielle Glücksspielstörung gemäß den Kriterien des DSM-5 erkennbar ist? • Wie hoch ist der Anteil der Personen an der erwachsenen Bevölkerung zwischen 18 und 85 Jahren in Deutschland, bei denen eine potentielle Glücksspielstörung gemäß den Kriterien des DSM-5 i.V.m. Impulsivität gemäß Kurzskala zur Messung von Impul-sivität nach dem UPPS-Ansatz erkennbar ist? • Die Befragung ist sowohl für alle Glücksspiele als auch für jedes einzelne Glücksspiel, das in Deutschland spielbar ist, durchzuführen. Re-präsentative Befragungen sollen Aufschluss über die Prävalenz der Glücksspielteilnahme so-wie das Ausmaß potentieller Glücksspielstörungen in der erwachsenen Bevölkerung geben. 2. Forschungszweck In der Vergangenheit wurden verschiedene Befragungen zur Glücksspielteilnahme und poten-tiellen Glücksspielsucht durchgeführt. An diese Arbeiten soll die Studie anbieterneutral und auf Basis einheitlicher, aktueller wissenschaftlicher Standards anknüpfen. Darüber hinaus soll sich die Befragung mit dem möglichen Zusammenhang von Impulsivität mit Glücksspielstörung beschäftigen. Das Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die Möglichkeit vertiefter, bisherige Stu-dienergebnisse ergänzender, evidenzbasierter Einschätzungen zur Wirksamkeit der verhältnis- und verhaltenspräventiven Maßnahmen des GlüStV 2021 zu schaffen. Des Weiteren gilt es, in einem eigenen Modul Minderjährige verstärkt in den Blick zu nehmen, da die bisherige Stu-dienlage nahelegt, dass zunehmend Jugendliche an Glücksspielen teilnehmen. Erwartet wird, dass die Ergebnisse der Studie zu einer evidenzbasierten Diskussion über Anpassungsbedar-fe bei der Schwerpunktsetzung in der weiteren Ausgestaltung der Regulierung von (Online-)Glücksspiel in Deutschland beitragen. 3. [2012]) o Auswahl der zu befragenden Personen durch eine bevölkerungsrepräsentative Stichprobenziehung auf Basis von Einwohnermelderegistern mit der Option von Mixed-Methods-Ansätzen o Erstellen eines standardisierten Fragebogens o Datenauswertung und -aufbereitung o Wiederholung der Befragung im Zweijahresrhythmus (zwei Befragungen zwischen 2027 und 2031) • Jugendmodul (Systematischer Review) o Literatur- und Realanalyse vorhandener Daten o darauf aufbauende Bewertung vorhandener Jugendschutzmaßnahmen Es wird in diesem Zusammenhang eine ausführliche und nachvollziehbare methodische Be-gründung des Studiendesigns erwartet. 4.
