# 2027-2029 maintenance dredging at Anchorage Harbor

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued an updated presolicitation for maintenance dredging at Anchorage Harbor and the Cook Inlet Navigation Channel. This is not a request for offers. The planned work includes annual removal of about 900,000 cubic yards of fine-grained shoaled material for three years, with an option for up to 350,000 cubic yards of sandy material annually. The public notice estimates the construction magnitude for base and options at USD 25 million to USD 100 million and anticipates the solicitation becoming available on or after 27 October 2026.
