Le projet s'inscrit dans la stratégie de modernisation du réseau de distribution de SIE SA et constitue une étape majeure de la migration progressive du réseau de distribution de 6,4 kV vers 21 kV. Le projet comprend notamment : * Le démontage, le recyclage et l'évacuation des cellules et matériel MT existantes ; * La démolition et l’évacuation des niches existantes ; * L’évacuation d’une bonbonne d’Azote présente dans le poste ; * L’élimination de 2 barils d’huile (416 l au total) ; * Le remplacement complet des cellules moyenne tension existantes ; * Le renouvellement des services auxiliaires AC et DC et des batteries ainsi que l’amélioration complète des installations CVSE ; * Le renouvellement des équipements de contrôle-commande, de protection et de communication ; * L'intégration des équipements existants conservés ; * Les travaux de génie civil nécessaires ; * Les adaptations des liaisons câblées moyenne tension existantes (optionnelle); * Le transport et montage de l’ensemble des équipements fournis ; * Les essais en usine (FAT), les essais sur site (SAT), les essais fonctionnels ainsi que la mise en service complète des installations ; * La remise de l'ensemble de la documentation conforme à l'exécution. Les nouvelles cellules devront permettre une exploitation dans une première phase sous une tension de 6,4 kV puis, sans modification structurelle des équipements principaux, sous une tension de 21 kV. En conséquent, les transformateurs de tension devront être dimensionnés pour permettre ce changement de tension modifications. Les cellules devront être conçues selon une technologie sans SF₆ et de préférence isolée à l’air et compatible avec les exigences environnementales actuelles et conformes aux prescriptions techniques du présent cahier des charges et des normes en vigueurs.
