Trotz der im 2012 realisierten Aufstockung besteht weiterhin Platzmangel und die veraltete Gebäudestruktur beeinträchtigt einen modernen und effizienten Verwaltungs- und Polizeibetrieb.\nDer Raumbedarf von insgesamt 10'320 m2 Nutzfläche für die Zusammenlegung der Verwaltungseinheiten am Standort Foribach wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit den betroffenen Departementen erarbeitet und optimiert. Er wurde auf die prognostizierte Arbeitsplatzentwicklung von insgesamt 245 Büroarbeitsplätzen bis 2040 ausgerichtet. Eine Zustandsanalyse von\n2007 zeigte, dass viele Gebäudeteile bereits damals ihre Lebensdauer überschritten hatten\nund Mängel bei Brandschutz, Erdbebensicherheit, Barrierefreiheit sowie bei der\nEnergieeffizienz bestehen. Bisherige Massnahmen beschränkten sich auf Reparaturen und\ntechnische Nachrüstungen. Trotz der im 2012 realisierten Aufstockung besteht weiterhin\nPlatzmangel und die veraltete Gebäudestruktur beeinträchtigt einen modernen und\neffizienten Verwaltungs- und Polizeibetrieb.\nDer Raumbedarf von insgesamt 10'320 m2 Nutzfläche für die Zusammenlegung der\nVerwaltungseinheiten am Standort Foribach wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit den\nbetroffenen Departementen erarbeitet und optimiert. Er wurde auf die prognostizierte\nArbeitsplatzentwicklung von insgesamt 245 Büroarbeitsplätzen bis 2040 ausgerichtet.
