# Study of goods and documents in postal mail streams

The UPU sought specialized services for phase I of a two-phase study of e-commerce trends and the proportion of goods and documents in parcel-post, EMS and E-format mail streams. The work covered volumes, postal operators’ processing practices and challenges under UPU standards, statistically valid EAD performance measures that exclude documents, and recommendations for identifying goods versus documents. The deadline was 4 May 2022 at 16:00 CEST.
