The\nRepublic of Moldova has received\nfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Moldova Rural Connectivity Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for\nProcurement of Development of measures to increase Road Traffic Safety”.\n2.The “National Road Administration” (NRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Development of measures to increase Road Traffic Safety under MRCP/W9/01, inclusive of all the necessary road improvement activities such as earthworks, road pavement rehabilitation/widening, repair works to structures, intersections, structures, drainage, incidental and safety facilities, road marking, signing and sidewalks.\nThe development of Measures to increase Road Traffic Safety comprises 5 different locations on the national roads, in the districts of tefan Vod, Orhei, and Hnceti.\nThe Scope of measures includes as provided below:\nOver 11.600 cub.m of Earthworks;\nOver 561 cub.m of asphalt concrete milling to any depth;\nOver 4.600 square meters of foundation layer mixture of cement-stabilized aggregates;\nOver 4.700 tonnes of asphalt;\nOver 1.100 linear meters of Crash Barrier (type New Jersey)\nOver 1.350 linear meters of paved waterways;\nOver 4.400 linear meters of guardrail installation;\nOver 340 pcs of sign installation;\nOver 6.100 square meters of road marking application;\nOver 2.400 square meters of sidewalk construction;\nOver 660 pcs of marker posts.\n3.Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), Small Works, as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen\nt\nRegulations for IPF Borrowers - Procurement in Investment Projects Financing; Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services”, revision September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.\n4.
